This car drives like new as only a very low mile car can.
I drove this TA to the World of Wheels event in Cincinnati in January 2024 and earned best in class for Cavalcade 2024.
This TA was treated to a customer paint job by Boitnott's Custom Body in Cincinnati Ohio in 2006.
Boitnott's Custom Body is known as one of the best Custom paint shops in the tri-state and they only do high end paint and body work.
The White pearl paint is thick and deep and has a great shine and gloss.
The custom painted graphics look crazy cool on the car and provide a one off Pontic TA which really makes it stand out in the crowd.
The original 305 engine remains in the car and the vin on the engine block is numbers matching.
This TA features beautiful White Pearl paint with custom painted on graphics, an original Red deluxe cloth interior, the original 305 engine, and several original dealer books and build sheet.
This TA is very solid with great lines and gaps.
There is no rust and no bubbling or cracked paint.
The underside is solid with no rust issues and no patches or repairs but does have some minor surface rust as expected.
This TA was rust proofed when new on the underside to prevent rust which has really done its job.
This TA is finished in the desirable color combinations of White over Red Deluxe cloth interior.
This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag and build sheets pictured above.
The clean car title shows the miles as actual.
The carfax is clean and mileage shows as actual as well with no issues.
Exterior The White exterior is in fantastic restored condition and shows very well.
This TA was repainted in 2006 by Boitnott's Custom Body who has a tremendous reputation for top notch Custom paint jobs.
They are easily considered one of the best paint shops in the Tri-State.
Although the paint work was completed 17 years ago it still shows very fresh today and shows excellent.
The paint is in excellent overall condition with no signs of visible rust anywhere on the body or underneath and both bumpers are in great shape.
There is no bubbling paint anywhere on the body of this car.
There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos.
The tires have good tread left and are correctly sized 225/70/15 and the 15 aftermarket snowflake wheels are in like new condition.
All weather stripping and window sweeps are in good condition.
Window sweeps were just installed and look great on the car and keep the windows rattle free.
Trunk is very solid and clean with an original style trunk mat, original space saver spare tire, original jack, and stock style 6x9 rear speakers.
The underside of this TA is solid with no rust issues or concerns and no patches or repairs and was undercoated many years ago to prevent rust.
Interior The Red deluxe interior of this TA is in terrific original stock condition.
The original seat covers are in spectacular condition with no noticeable wear or fading or seam splits.
These are factory original covers not some cheap aftermarket covers.
The carpet is in great condition with no stains, rips, or holes.
The original dash is in like new condition with no cracks or warping or fading and the original plastic pieces are still under the metal A pillar trim pieces.
The engine turned dash bezel is in great condition.
The stereo was upgraded to a modern Kenwood CD player which looks great and sounds great even with the original 4 GM speakers.
Stock original front and rear speakers are still in this car and sound great.
The original door panels are in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact.
The headliner looks like new and the package tray is original and in excellent condition with original speaker grills.
All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should.
The clock appears to not be working.
The horn, all gauges, stereo, wipers, and blower motor all work.
This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical This TA is in great mechanical condition and the original 305 engine is still in the car with matching vin number, see photo.
This engine runs well and the car performs nicely.
This TA drives well with surprising power and handles well.
The exhaust was upgraded to true duals and performance Flowmaster mufflers were added.
This TA has a muscle car sound at idle and cruising speeds.
There is no smoke when starting or driving the car.
It starts right away every time and runs well.
The brakes do not pull and stop as they should.
Also, the engine is very clean and was detailed recently.
The block was painted black and some chrome pieces were added to go along with the Custom paint work.
The thermostat and housing were just changed.
A new fuel filter and oil change were just added.
