Software Engineer - Full Stack

ABOUT YOU You've built sophisticated .NET applications and you're chomping at the bit to try another.  You also enjoy back-end work developing efficient and scalable database queries. Working with more junior developers gets you excited for the coaching opportunities, and more senior developers for the learning. Grokking the business requirements is second-nature. You own what you wrote and jump in to help your team support the product when there's a fire, and when the smoke clears you're one of the first to say "ok, how can we make sure that doesn't happen again?". You're passionate and opinionated about great user experience; and most importantly, you love building real, working apps that surprise and delight your customers. WHAT YOU'D BE DOING Under general supervision of the Manager of Software Engineering, the Software Engineer is a front-end and back-end engineer who performs work assignments in one or more of the following areas: providing technical guidance and direction to other staff members; participating in project planning and requirements definition; system/application design, system/application development, database design, unit testing, support during QA and User Acceptance Testing, implementation and integration; customer support for and technical expertise in end-user decision support software tools and end-user computing technology; conducting all activities in accordance with standards and procedures. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, test, deploy, and support new software and database solutions and changes to existing software and database solutions Troubleshoot technical issues in a variety of application environments Demonstrates competence across the technologies used by the team Works under some supervision Owns and completes tasks as active contributor to the team Delivers to production EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE B.S. in computer science or information systems fields required or 5+ years related workexperience. 3-5 years of workingsoftware engineering experience. 1-3 years of workingdatabasescripting. Experience translating modern UX designs into pixel perfect user interfaces Broad and deep web application development experience leveraging JavaScript, AngularJS, C#, ASP.NET Web API, relational and NoSQL databases. In depth SQL querying/optimization expertise. Experience working with Agile and/or Lean software development approaches. JY183609

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
