Summary:
We are looking for a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and help us find the best talent to support our company's growthAs a small-medium sized business we partner with some of the largest retailers, restaurants, and grocers in the world to ensure high quality and energy-efficient buildingsThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the recruiting process and be able to source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of roles.
Talent Acquisition Specialist
Responsibilities:
Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees.
Pre-screen, qualify, and source external candidates through cold calls, referrals, professional organizations, job boards, and online recruitment sites.
Manage candidate scheduling, including ongoing communication, interviews, and travel itineraries, and maintain appropriate candidate follow-up.
Lead the interview process with key hiring managers and human resources.
Participate in and follow up on job fairs, key career events, and professional organizations to support our staffing needs.
Establish strong relationships with professional organizations and networking venues.
Actively support the use of recruitment systems and processes by maintaining the accuracy of applicant tracking system data.
Perform administrative duties and recordkeeping.
Complete other job duties as assigned.
Talent Acquisition Specialist
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, plus two years of human resource experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Superior customer service skills, including excellent written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and a service leadership philosophy.
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information and documentation.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information.
Demonstrated high level of integrity and a commitment to quality.
Strong work ethic and a high level of accountability.
Ability to lead and influence teams, individuals, and managers with or without direct authority.
Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and resourcefulness.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to effectively present information and answer questions from groups of managers and employees.
Excellent time management and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Talent Acquisition Specialist Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; talk or hearThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Travel required for this position is up to 20% and is typically seasonal.
